TeraCopy comes with a wide range of useful features. It automatically calculates CRC checksum values for faster operation, skips bad sectors during the copying or moving process and reports these errors at the end of the operation and also displays information about handled files what gives a chance to fix them and recopy only problem files. Pros:
Interface is easy to use and integrates perfectly in Windows Shell behaving as if it were a part of Windows.
The application completes the transfer even if it bumps into corrupted files, it simply gives a chance to fix them. Comes without nag screens and ads, even though it’s free. What ‘s nice about this app is a 'verify copy' which makes you sure each copy has been done.Cons:
- not so intuitive interface,
- lacks scripting options,
- no automatic updates notifications.Summary:
This surely is extremely useful program, fast, easy to handle and free, especially if you want to overcome the sluggish Windows 7 copy activities and for people who move tons of files on regular basis and wish to move them safely.
