We saw this genre gain popularity just a few years ago. Artists including Flume, Wave Racer, Porter Robinson, and many other big names all contributed to this growth. They first blended the existing sound palate of trap music with other elements from melodic dubstep, deep house, and contemporary pop music. As a result, this exciting new hybrid genre has the main-stage viability of big room and trap, but the commercial appeal and listenability of pop music.

Another benefit of the Future Bass sound is the fact that since it is more listenable, the genre has a much broader reach than other commercial main-stage styles. Online blogs and distributors such as EDMTunes, and YourEdm, tend to favor Future Bass submissions, due to the wide scale appeal of the genre. Future Bass is definitely one of the hottest and most marketable styles of music out there currently, and when you’re looking to start producing this exciting genre, it’s important for you to first make sure that you have the appropriate Future Bass sample library to produce your song.
