Digital Usb 2.0 Dvb T Hdtv Tv Tuner Driver Download
I'm using it on Windows 10 64 and you need to download a driver from /ClimaxDigital Support. Installing the driver is easy and instructions are provided. On Windows 10 the included remote control doesn't work but I'm not sure why you'd want to use a remote with your PC. The included aerial is a waste of time so you'll need either a good indoor aerial or a connection to a roof aerial. I'm connected to my roof aerial and the device picked up 67 TV channels and 30 radio stations.
There has been a lot of criticism of the included software but it does the job and is very easy to use. When channels have been found you'll have to rearrange them into your preferred order.The Electronic Programme Guide isn't very good but recording a programme is straightforward. I tried two free alternatives - MediaPortal and NextPVR but had problems setting up both of them.
This is a simple device with simple software. It allows you to watch TV in Standard (not HD) quality and record in mpeg format.It is easy to set up and use with little in the way of bells and whistles. If you want something better, use PLEX with one of its recommended devices but that costs much more that this cheap and cheerful wonder from ClimaxDigital.
